Wheat
Sallaska
Farms has planted 750 acres or more of winter wheat
for harvest and grazing for several years. Soil tests
are performed to discover the accurate amount of fertilizers
to apply. Strenuous research determines the proper
variety of wheat for the conditions of the farm to
be planted. The extensive amount of time doing this
has been rewarded with yields up to 87 bushels per
acre of wheat for the past three years.
Sallaska Farms are interested in selling acres of wheat
for graze out. The season lasts from November thru May. Contact us if
you are interested.
